Haller Magee
Executive Chef Haller Magee hails from Jackson, Mississippi where he discovered his love of cooking while playing hookie from school. One of his buddies had a well appointed kitchen and they spent many afternoons seeing what they could whip up. From there he worked his way up in local kitchens, eventually finding himself in Birmingham as a line cook at the newly opened Satterfield’s. When the need for a new Executive Chef arose, Haller applied, auditioned and landed the job. He’s brought a cohesiveness to the menu without becoming staid. Always ready with a smile and a story, don’t be surprised if he stops by your table to make sure you’re having as good a time as he is!
